I was born in Elkhart, Indiana. We moved to California when I was quite young. My heritage and values are as midwestern as are most of the people whose parents settled in Orange County in the 1960s and 70s. I graduated from La Habra High School. Thereafter, I attended San Diego State where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Development. I received my Juris Doctorate from Western State University in Fullerton. My original goal was to become a medical doctor as I so admired anyone who worked in the healing arts. I found I had a greater aptitude to be a lawyer.
I am married, with a beautiful wife and daughter. My hobbies are golf and I love sports. I am an Angel and Ducks fan. My law practice has centered on Personal Injury and Workers Compensation since 1986. I am a member of the California Applicant’s Association which is a group of attorneys devoted to the needs and representation of injured workers. These areas of practice seemed to find me. I found over time that representing people who come to me in a state of emotional and physical pain suited my personality best. Such people are in their most vulnerable, fearful, and helpless state. Beyond monetary gain, I am dedicated to being able to assist and serve my clients.
